The sun is shining for clients of BLIX Consultancy
Permit achieved for large solar park (42 MW)
Last week the Municipality of Voorst approved the plan of family Gooiker to realize a large land-based solar park next to the A1 in Wilp in the Eastern part of the Netherlands. The following step is to request subsidy of the Stimulation of Sustainable Energy Production (SDE+). BLIX Consultancy provides project management during this development phase.
Willy and Brigitte Gooiker built a successful agricultural enterprise in the past decade. Currently they are planning to use 35 hectares of their land for a solar field, that will substantially contribute to a more renewable society. The project will consist of estimated 145.000 solar panels with a total capacity of 42 MW. The solar field of the family Gooiker will play a significant role in the ambition of the Municipality Voorst, aiming to be climate neutral in 2030.
Willy Gooiker: “Although we are entrepreneurs ourselves, developing a solar field like this is something else. With the support of the project manager of BLIX Consultancy we experience that we are able to develop a project on our own account and in a very professional way. This is essential because of the tight planning, the development costs involved in such a project, but also in a later stage when we are seeking investors and financing.
Since mid-2017 BLIX Consultancy expands her advice and interim project management services for wind energy projects to the development, contracting and construction management of large solar parks. Currently we support several clients with developing and realizing solar parks. The combined knowledge and independency that BLIX Consultancy can add to projects where wind and large solar-PV come together is unique.
